Randox Lab Week 2021 Podcast Series Episode 1: Cortney Rowan

The focus of #LabWeek2021 has been on the incredible dedication of our Randox Laboratory staff. These staff members go above and beyond on a daily occurrence, not just during a global pandemic.

Through this podcast series we have a chat with three different laboratory staff members, all with different experiences and backgrounds.

This first episode is with Cortney Rowan, COVID-19 Lab Accessioning Co-ordinator. Cortney joined the Randox team in August, as mass national testing was ramped up within the UK. With no previous science experience, Cortney took the opportunity to challenge herself and learn new skills.

Now a full-time member of our Marketing team, Cortney reflects on her experience in the labs; what it was like to be a key worker in the middle of an international crisis and how much she has learnt about the laboratory heroes working tirelessly to combat COVID-19.
