Randox Lab Week 2021 Podcast Series Episode 2: Dr Dwaine Vance

The focus of #LabWeek2021​ has been on the incredible dedication of our Randox Laboratory staff. These staff members go above and beyond on a daily occurrence, not just during a global pandemic.

Through this podcast series we have a chat with three different laboratory staff members, all with different experiences and backgrounds.

In this second installation of our #LabWeek2021 podcast series, we chat to Dr Dwaine Vance, COVID-19 Laboratory Manager and Molecular Product Specialist.
At the very start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Vance was called upon to play a key role in Randox’s endeavour to test and better understand the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen, as it swept across the world.

Dwaine discusses the progression and innovation behind Randox’s approach to COVID-19 testing.
From the rapid response initiated back in March, through utilisation of our own Biochip Technology, to the present day at our mass testing facility in Antrim Northern Ireland, the biggest in the United Kingdom.
The scale up of our testing facilities could not have been achieved, nor maintained, without the dedication of our talented laboratory staff.
